Jadzia is one of the pups from our litter K, Ezri‘s last litter, born in spring 2025. Due to adverse circumstances, it really was not the time to keep a pup, yet it was necessary for our future breeding plans. Especially because Jadzia’s sire Mika introduced some new lines.

The four little girls gave me a hard time to choose, because when reaching an age of 8 weeks, they were all very well built and their gaiting was equally effortless and smooth (according to Pat Hasting’s puppy score). The whole litter was exceptional. In the end Jadzia’s strong and straight back, her movement and her friendly nature tipped the scales.

Leeta and her became best friends, plotting fiddle-faddle all the time, digging and redecorating flowers and bushes. Jadzia made her place in the pack, getting along well even with our “grandad” Sisko, and whenever “queen dowager” Kira pays a visit, she leads the old girl to zoomies and shenanigans.

Meanwhile little Jadzia has entered the world of dog shows and proved herself steady-natured and outgoing. As of yet, there is not much to win, but she is well appreciated, has lots of fun and is able to relax nicely while waiting.
